Instructions: You are to interview two people and record their responses on this form. You should state their name and their comments to your solution to the identified problem.
VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.
Mom- Some form of reform is neccisary to this system. If kids are being taken away fromt the foster parents then not only are the parents losing a child but also all the time and money that they used to accept this child into their homes. The deadlines make the process somewhat easier, but only if everyone (biological parents) knows them.
Dad- The current system has so many flaws. Therefore, the system needs revision. The ideas that you (me) pose would set a set date that the child needs to be taken back by, or the biological parents are out of luck.
VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are
If the child does happen to be reclaimed then the biological parents must reimburse the adoptive parents 100%. The deadlines would need to be strictly enforced so this dosent all happen again. Each state already has its own agency to handle adoptions so a new agency will not be created.
